On 7th Avenue, across from the US district court, is this gem--Hotel Max. The Hotel Max Artist Loft is actually just an old parking garage.

But don't let that color your opinion. It's a parking garage that is has the most equisite industrial vibe with concrete walls and floor, broad window lighting, and a full car sized elevotor that access the loft from the main floor.
